Rabona Magazine is a football magazine published bi-annually. The whole magazine is beautifully designed by Russian studio QUSQUS and printed by the excellent Logical Connections in England. The "rabona" is a method of kicking the football, whereby the kicking leg is wrapped around the back of the standing leg - effectively with one's leg crossed. The first Rabona was performed by Ricardo Infante in a game between Argentine teams Estudiantes de la Plata and Rosario Central in 1948. Rabona Magazine is a celebration of great football journalism, iconic photography and a slow appreciation of everything that makes the game beautiful. Based in London, England, we are not only lovers of the extravagant cross-legged kick from which we take our name, but also great design and a sharp eye for detail. We aim to bring you the best interviews and most insightful features via our flagship bi-annual magazine, quarterly newspaper and sparkling new website.
