Abiding by the premise of originate, The New Order was founded upon the concept of balancing our philosophy and creating something more insightful for our readers. Since moving into print, The New Order has flourished in many areas, where our online sources could not and provides a platform upon which the future of street culture will be forged. We at the publication believe that this is equally tenable for the most credible agents of the industry to the up-and-coming names, who will continue to drive this medium forward. Inspired by a grassroots- and collaborative-based approach, our editorial content works to seamlessly bridge the gaps found between the most established high-end brands, discreet yet gifted and stimulating projects, and offerings from the world’s most innovative and robust forces of creativity. The New Order was founded in 2009, by James Oliver and Adam Bryce – best known for their involvement in launching and developing SLAMXHYPE, a groundbreaking online resource for street culture – The New Order aims to progress the evolution of subculture by drawing on the pair’s dedication to advancement and originality. Since 2010, James Oliver has taken on the dual roles of publisher and editorial director for the magazine, bringing together a host of renowned contributors from all over the globe, while himself being based in Tokyo and working with his creative team there.
