Akt Magazine Issue 1 is available now on loremnotipsum.com. In Issue 1 we have talks with SX, Kaspar Hamacher, Charbel Abou Zeidan, Thomas Haarmann, Maarten van Essche and Berlinde De Bruyckere. We visit the home of Élise Van Thuyne, study the works of Gijs Van Vaerenbergh and Dom Hans Van Der Laan. We join Illuminine in Iceland while recording, and meet ‘Tsuki’ Kozuki who looks back on a decade-long collaboration with choreographer Sidi Larbi Charkaoui. And we find out more on the theme of ‘Modesty’ in ‘The Quiet Revolution’.

It is an independent magazine founded by Jessy Van Durme & Piet-Albert Goethals. With Akt Magazine, we search for greatness in a small corner, abstraction in the mass, with a keen eye for timeless aesthetics and a nod to Belgium’s creative landscape of architecture, design, fashion, food and beyond. We value profound and authentic stories. Therefore Akt Magazine only features well-sourced and unique content made by our team.
