Das Wetter ist ein Magazin für Text und Musik. Es verbindet Zeitgeist mit Zeitlosigkeit, sowie Diskurs-Punk mit Strassenrap und ein stilvolles Design mit qualitativ hochwertigen Texten, Fotos und Illustrationen. »Das Wetter« ist ein quartalsweise erscheinendes Magazin für guten Popjournalismus, der intuitiven Strassenrap mit derselben Ernsthaftigkeit und Begeisterungsfähigkeit betrachtet, wie intellektuellen Popdiskurs, und immer wieder über den Tellerrand der Musik hinaus blickt. Das Wetter ist hochwertig gestaltet und verbindet Zeitgeist mit Zeitlosigkeit, sowie Diskurs-Punk mit Strassenrap. Die Herausgeber sind alle stark in der Musik-Szene verwurzelt und wollen gute Geschichten erzählen (fiktionale wie reale), spannende Gespräche führen und Texte aufstellen, für die es woanders keinen Platz gibt.

Inhalt

01 – CASPER
Eine der ersten grossen deutschsprachigen Platten wird sicherlich: Alles war schön und nichts tat weh von Casper. Sascha Ehlert traf Benjamin Griffey, gute acht Jahre, nachdem dieser sich dazu bereit erklärt hatte, sich für das Cover der ersten Wetter-Ausgabe (von Hendrik Otremba) malen zu lassen, um ausführlich (12 Seiten) über‘s neue Album, aber auch über das Popjahr 2021 und vieles mehr zu sprechen. Die Fotos dazu machte Stephie Braun im Kino International in Berlin.

02 – MIA MORGAN
Wie klingt eigentlich eine moderne, deutschsprachige Coming of Age-Platte im Zeitalter von Euphoria und so? Mia Morgan macht es uns auf ihrem Debütalbum Fleisch vor. Die Fotografin Bahar Kaygusuz und Hair & Make Up-Artist Leana Ardeleanu trafen sich an einem Montagmorgen, um diesen »Popstar in the Making« bildlich zu portraitieren. Die Autorin Ilona Hartmann (Land in Sicht) wiederum traf Mia zum Nudelsuppe essen und schrieb darauf ein privates und kluges textliches Porträt, das ihr in angemessener Ausführlichkeit in diesem Wetter lesen könnt.

03 – FLORENTINA HOLZINGER
Zweifellos eine*r der interessantesten Bühnenkünstler*innen unserer Zeit ist Florentina Holzinger. Wir trafen die Choreografin aus Österreich in den Berliner Sophiensaelen, um über ihre Inszenierungspraxis, das utopische Potenzial von Kunst, Körper, Ballett und vieles mehr zu sprechen. Ein Transkript des ausführlichen Gespräches mit Sascha Ehlert, bebildert von Svenja Trierscheid, findet ihr in Das Wetter #26.

04 – DERYA YILDIRIM & GRUP ŞIMŞEK
Wie das oft so ist: man lernt über Instagram-Mentions diese eine neue Band kennen, die einen nicht mehr los lässt. So geschah es der Wetter-Redaktion mit Derya Yıldırım & Grup Şimşek. Damit ihr, sofern ihr diese grossartige Band irgendwo zwischen Folklore, Psychedelic und Gegenwart noch nicht kennt, das auch nachvollziehen könnt, haben wir Band-Freund*in und Autor*in Duygu Ağal gebeten, einen Video-Call mit der Gruppe für uns aufzuzeichnen. Die Fotos machte Amelie Kahn-Ackermann.

05 – DANIEL ZILLMANN
Das hier ist eigentlich längst überfällig, immerhin war Daniel Zillmann vor ein paar Jahren das erste Das Wetter-Merch-Modell. Weil Daniel aber vor allem ein toller Theater-, Film- und Serien-Schauspieler, sowie Musiker (KiNG MAMI) ist, haben wir uns mit ihm über die Familie, seinen Arbeiter*innen-Background, die oft reaktionär agierende Filmbranche und vieles mehr unterhalten. Mit Fotografien von William Minke.

Darüber hinaus in Das Wetter Nr. 26: Begegnungen mit den Musiker*innen Verifiziert, Suena, Teven und Nalan, den Tänzern Les Twins, den Autor*innen Ariane Koch, Hendrik Bolz, sowie den Künstlerinnen Calla Henkel und Hassina Taalbi.
