Openhouse Magazine issue 15 is available now on loremnotipsum.com. In this issue we reflect on the idea of heritage, a word built on concepts of ownership and value. We encounter the legacy of Luis Barragán in México City, and feel the sorrow on Benjamin Clementine’s voice when singing about his childhood and fatherhood. We visit Atelier Vime, where traditional wickerwork takes on a new life, and then explore the universe of Artigas family at Fundación Josep Llorens Artigas, where a dynasty is devoted to art, generation after generation.
Openhouse Magazine is a bi-annually publication, that looks to bright, creative people from around the world, that open their doors of their private spaces to the public, to make different activities about gastronomy, art and design. Printed in Lleida, Openhouse is a magazine of 144 pages, filled with beautiful photography, interesting interviews of people who open special places around the world that the reader can visit and join in with the activities. Openhouse Magazine is also a guide to their secret loved places in their towns, and some favourite recipes. Openhouse is a multi lingual publication; all articles are published in English and the language of the interviewee. Openhouse was started by Andrew Trotter and Mari Luz Vidal, and we are building a small team of collaborators who are designers, writers and photographers from all around the world. We love to hear from new people who have interesting stories to tell about OpenSpaces from near and far.
