Primary Paper Magazine Issue 1 (Colour) is out now. Colour invokes symbolism, meaning and emotion. It can be interpreted differently depending on context, culture and artist. Through a series of photo essays, contributors were asked to openly express their ideas around a single colour. The issue journeys through these hues to compare and contrast emotive reactions across the spectrum of colour.
Primary Paper Magazine is a new photography magazine exploring the origins of art and image. Primary Paper uses photography, writing & art to examine the origin of images and ideas. Through commission and curation, we collaborate with emerging and established artists to delve deep on a single theme per issue. With work exploring both the every day and the unexpected, we embrace diverse perspectives and artistic visions.
