James Baldwin gilt als einer der wichtigsten Schriftsteller in der Bürgerrechtsbewegung. Wir haben uns inspirieren lassen von seiner Geschichte und uns für die aktuelle Ausgabe nicht nur nach Leukerbad begeben, sondern erzählen auch andere Lebensgeschichten von Schwarzen Menschen in der Schweiz.

Transhelvetica Magazin, das ist das junge Schweizer Magazin für Reisekultur. Transhelvetica sucht die Schweiz hinter dem Heidi-Idyll. Wir finden überraschende Reiseziele, neue Geschichten zu altbekannten Destinationen und verkünden grosszügig Geheimtipps. Unsere Entdeckungsgänge werden zu Portraits über Stadt, Land, Berg und Leute. Für unsere Reportagen arbeiten wir mit jungen Talenten wie bekannten Journalisten und Fotografen zusammen. Das Magazin erscheint 6 Mal pro Jahr mit einem abwechslungsreichen Themenmix aus Natur, Kultur und Genuss. Es richtet es sich an neugierige, humorvolle und engagierte Entdeckernaturen mit einem Interesse an der Schweiz. Die Publikation thematisiert die Verbindung von Qualität, Design, Nachhaltigkeit und Genuss in der Freizeit. Die Redaktion hat sich passenderweise im Alten Bahnhof Letten in Zürich eingerichtet. Im Juni 2016 und nach eindrücklichen 35 Ausgaben wurde das Transhelvetica-Magazin einem Redesign unterzogen. Die Inhalte wie auch das visuelle Design der Publikation wurden komplett überarbeitet und das Magazin erhielt ein neues Logo.

Vielseitig
Die Walliser Sängerin KT Gorique gilt als musikalisches Ausnahmetalent. Ihre Musik ist vielseitig, manchmal wird sie als «Schweizer Sackmesser» bezeichnet. Als erste Schweizerin und als erste Frau überhaupt gewann sie den internationalen Freestyle-Rap-Wettbewerb End of the weak in New York. Ein Porträt und ein Gespräch über Kreativität.

Ökologisches Bauen
Gnanli Landrou revolutioniert als junger Forscher an der ETH Zürich die Bauindustrie – hier verleiht er seinem Traum, ökologische Häuser aus Lehm zu bauen, Flügel. Die Denkweise, die ihn zu einem erfolgreichen Erfinder und Entwickler macht, gründet in der Heimat seiner Familie: Afrika.

Schwarzbub
Der Radiojournalist Bernard Senn wandert durch das Schwarzbubenland und begibt sich auf eine Reise durch die Geschichte dieser eigenwilligen Landschaft. Er selbst ist als «Schwarbub» aufgewachsen, als Sohn einer Schweizerin und eines Vaters aus Ghana – damals in den 1970er- Jahren, in einer vorwiegend weissen Schweiz.
