Little Atoms Magazine No. 1 is available now! The Little Atoms radio show launched on London's Resonance FM in 2005, in part as a response to the debate that followed the terrorist bombings in London. Ten years on, after a decade of interviews with some of the most interesting voices in politics, literature, science, art and comedy, Little Atoms is branching out with a new online publication dedicated to intelligent, accessible writing on everything from deism to design.
We are curious about the whole spectrum of ideas, and we know our listeners and readers are too. Our launch features articles on shamanism in the Ecuadorian rainforest, the perverse joys of subletting in New York, and the mechanisms of Syria’s war economy, among many others.
Our contributors include award-winning journalists, writers and comics, and between them have written for every publication you can think of.
Featuring exclusive new essays, including Fergal Keane on the refugee crisis, Elle Hardyin Central Asia, Nick Cohen on bad books and Martin Robbins on pseudoscience's love affair with the real thing
PLUS: Eric Schlosser on Armageddon, Suzanne Moore on Organon, Christopher Hitchens on Marxism, Sarah Churchwell on Gatsby and much more.
Designed by award-winning Wild Billy and Crazy Dave, with illustrations by Jean Jullien, Little Atoms issue 1 is a collectors' item for the reader in your life.
