FUKT Magazine

FUKT Magazine was founded by Norwegian artist Bjørn Hegardt. The magazine is published anually and wholly dedicated to contemporary drawing and illustration. As one of the world’s leading drawing magazines, FUKT introduces you to outstanding creatives from around the globe ranging from emerging talents to long-established artists. Featured with artists’ interviews, and essays, the award-winning magazine is notable for its unrestricted layout and covers. FUKT was established in Trondheim, Norway 1999 and now based in Berlin and Oslo. Each issue comes with a unique cover by Ariane Spanier who also co-edits and designs the magazine. The editorial team is small, engaged, and changing for each issue. What does FUKT mean? It translates as “moist” or “damp” in Scandinavian languages.

FUKT Magazine Issue 21 (the Unknown Issue) is exploring the uncertainties that inundate our everyday lives, the mysteries that are lurking in the shadows, and the vast potential of life beyond our own universe. The unknown encompasses us, concealed in the past, present, and future - veiled behind the facades of cities and within the depths of our own minds.
