Weniger ist oft mehr. Das gilt auch fürs Schreiben. Auf einer Postkarte hat es wenig Platz, doch genug Raum für wichtige Botschaften. Unsere Passion für zeitgenössische Fotografie und Kunst hat uns dazu bewegt, eine Edition ins Leben zu rufen. EDITION GRUSSFORMAT beinhaltet eine ständig wachsende Kollektion nationaler und internationaler zeitgenössischer KünstlerInnen in Fotografie, Illustration und Grafik. Wo alles auf Knopfdruck zur Verfügung steht, gerät manchmal in Vergessenheit, dass ein Bild zum Verweilen einlädt und nicht zum Vorbeirauschen. Die Postkarte ist mehr als ein digitales Bild. Sie ist ein materielles Objekt. Man kann sie in der Hand halten, als Lesezeichen zwischen die Seiten eines Buchs legen oder an heissen Tagen als Fächer benutzen. Sie ist Erinnerung und Botschaft. Ein Bild auf einer Postkarte erlaubt das ruhige Betrachten, ein kurzes Atemholen in der Hektik des Alltags. GRUSSFORMAT ist ein Projekt von Samuel Wolf und Gaël Hugo.
