Runaway Magazine is an independent travel publication dedicated to the growing community of runners and trailblazers around the world. Our title certainly does intend to convey a sense of rebellious independence, but mainly the pursuit of exploring our world on foot, in the streets, day and night. Each issue of Runaway Magazine is a guide to a different city and seeks to portray its soul and energy. By highlighting characters, current affairs, culture, art, food and grit from a street level, Runaway Magazine hopes to serve as an inspiration to run, create and explore. In our stories, you will meet characters who run away to give their creative energy to this city. For them, running is about more than minutes per miles, it’s a way of life that requires them to leave their comfort zone, explore, reach for inspiration, feel good and do better. They’re chasing dreams down avenues and alleyways and across bridges. We want to be a guide and an inspiration to run, create and enjoy in this city and others, viewing them all through the eyes of those who run on their streets and chase the soul of the city.
