Foam Magazine Issue 48 (the Talent Issue) is available now on loremnotipsum.com. Each portfolio published in the Talent Issue is accompanied by a critical essay offering further insight into the nature and concept of the project. At a time of significant global uncertainty, it is fitting that a number of the featured artists express varied socio-political concerns in their work. As well as portfolios with powerful aesthetic signatures, the 11th edition of the Talent Issue also includes a striking number of long-term projects, each one having acquired greater depth and meaning through time. Beyond the Talent portfolios, regular features include a view of Peter Puklus’ working methods in Toolbox, a Self Portrait comprising works from Zanele Muholi’s ongoing Somnyama Ngonyama series, as well as an extended conversation between AA Bronson and Wolfgang Tillmans.

Foam Magazine is an international photography magazine published three times a year by Foam Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam. The magazine serves as an exhibition space that embraces every aspect of photography from documentary to fashion, from contemporary to historical, from world famous photographers to young talent. The annual Foam Magazine Talent Issue and the related Talent Programme are supported by the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation and the Niemeijer Fund. Foam Magazine is sponsored by Igepa Netherlands BV, supplier of excellent paper. Foam Magazine has been awarded several prizes for both its high-grade graphic design and the quality of its content. Most recently, Foam Magazine was awarded Photography Magazine of the Year at the Lucie Awards 2017 and 2019.
