Minka Magazine is available now at LOREM (not Ipsum). Minka Magazine is a bi-annual publication from Canada exploring the outdoors, craft, design, fashion, music and literature. Minka are the thatch roof farmhouses found in Japan. Although the houses are full of texture through the raw materials sourced from the surrounding area, the structures are refined and dignified. In this spirit, a collection of Toronto creatives, colleagues and writers from the UK, Japan and Denmark have assembled the first issue of Minka. A bi-annual publication exploring the outdoors, craft, design, fashion, music and literature.
