Altered States Magazine is a printed beauty publication about cultural innovation and authenticity. A loosely arranged collage of new editorial, photo essays and archival photography, that outlines a sincere appreciation of the authentic niches and artistic experiences, within hair and beauty. Every issue is the appreciation issue... The magazine is inspired by subculture, co-founded by Michael Harding and Hannah Elwell. The first issue (the Appreciation Issue) is an energetic mix of people doing their thing, with photographers including Samuel Bradley, Will Scarborough, Daniel Ciufo, Josh Hight and Emily Lipson.
