Form Magazine No. 273 (Designing Protest) is available now on loremnotipsum.com. Silent or loud, raised and planned long beforehand or erupting spontaneously, it can change something or fail miserably: such is the nature of protest. However, irrespective of the form resistance takes, it is always a subject of design.

Since its founding in 1957, form magazine has been the leading special interest magazine for designers and design-interested readers. To this day, more than 250 issues of form magazine have been published. After a relaunch in 2013 that changed both the design and the content of the magazine, in three clearly structured categories, form deals with recent trends in different areas of design and provides an overview of relevant events. In addition to the magazine, form.de daily offers new reports and informs visitors about current events. The publishing house’s history, an extensive archive of former issues and the online shop further round out the portfolio. With the cross-media approach of the magazine, the website and the use of social media it is guaranteed, that the target audience both in Germany and abroad is reached cross-generationally.

Form Magazin No. 273 (Designing Protest) ist da. Er kann still sein oder laut, er kann sich von langer Hand geplant erheben oder spontan entladen, er kann etwas verändern oder kläglich an seinen Zielen scheitern: der Protest. Doch unabhängig davon, in welcher Form sich Widerstand regt, ist er immer auch Gegenstand von Gestaltung.

Das form Magazin erscheint seit nunmehr fast 60 Jahren. Gegründet 1957 von Jupp Ernst, Willem Sandberg, Curt Schweicher und Wilhelm Wagenfeld als „Internationale Revue“, hat sie sich über die Jahre als eines der weltweit führenden Magazine in den Bereichen Produkt-, Industrie und Kommunikationsdesign etabliert. form spricht Profis und Liebhaber aller Gestaltungsdisziplinen an. Zur Leserschaft gehören somit nicht nur Designer, Architekten, Lehrende und Studierende, sondern auch Design-Interessierte aller Fachbereiche und Altersgruppen. Mit News, Schwerpunktthemen und Analysen setzt die form Themen, sorgt für Orientierung und stößt den Designdiskurs an.
