MATTO Magazine Issue 2 is available now at LOREM (not Ipsum). It is a biannual magazine featuring a little bit of this, and a little bit of that from ‘art-photography-design-literature-fashion-sex’. Issue 2 is featuring work by Daisuke Yokota, Paul Kooiker, Daido Moriyama, Amie Siegel, Olivier Saillard, Marc Hundley, Anicka Yi, Alex Foxton, Rosemarie Auberson, Lexie Smith, Richard Prince, Sandra Vasquez De La Horra, Trisha Baga, Kristen Wentrcek and Andrew Zebulon, Sarah Lucas.
«MATTO Magazine brings something refreshing and subversive—in both form and function— to the often stale (not to mention ever- dwindling) world of print.
Less concerned with eeting cultural resonance of the hot new thing or any kind of momentary hype, they’re instead focused on highlighting those whose creative authenticity translates seamlessly into their own radical craft.
A perfect embodiment of what the magazine embraces: a little bit of this, and a little dash of that, with no subject too taboo to be left in the cutting room».
— Office magazine Press review
MATTO is a multidisciplinary studio in Paris (France). Twice a year we publish the independent MATTO magazine about ‘art-design-literature-photography-fashion-sex’. The magazine is created by Aldo Buscalferri and Dominika Hadelova, based in Paris. It was launched in December 2018 and combines art, design, fashion, literature and photography. It is taking its title from the Italian word for ‘crazy’, it is a bi-annual magazine that seeks to escape definition. Instead, it remains in a constant state of experimentation. This first issue takes readers across the globe to meet artists and creators whose work reflects the magazine’s primary goal: “to fluidly combine art-photography-literature-fashion-music-sex”.
