Marfamily is created by Alexandra Gordienko and a tight circle of her friends whilst still at Central Saint Martins in 2013 – Marfamily is a collaborative project, presenting an intimate take on the current state of culture. It blends various disciplines of contemporary arts into the format of a hardcover book. Marfamily offers intimate conversation with artists from all around the world Michael Dean, Urs Fischer, Paloma Varga Weisz, Jenny Holzer, Nate Lowman, Lizzie Fitch / Ryan Trecartin, Jeffrey Deitch, Adam McEwen, Lynda Benglis, Enzo Cucchi, Nicole Wermers, Agathe Snow, Richard Mosse – we even talked to Harmony Korine’s whilst swimming in the pool of his home in Miami. The biannual title is crafting itself a multi-faceted profile with public events and branded t-shirts that are true to the zeitgeist spirit of the magazine.
