Scenes Journal Issue 2 (Fractures) is available now on loremnotipsum.com. The issue, in which we’ve curated work under the theme Fractures, includes interviews with Hossein Amini, Josephine Decker, Joel Potrykus and Ioana Uricaru – all writers and filmmakers, who, in some way or another, come from outside of the system and approach film through a different perspective. We speak to each of them about their progress, breaking into larger audiences, and the divides that they portray in their films. Furthermore, it includes scripts which comment on the divides in our society – from gender to political or even physical walls separating us – all these scripts take these divides and demonstrate them through a human and individual perspective.
Bi-annual film journal Scenes is dedicated to fostering progressive work from both established and emerging screenwriters. Aiming to support screenwriting’s potential and promote it as a literary art form. Each issue will feature short screenplays as well as high quality analogue and digital photography.
