Alla Carta No. 13 (Fall/Winter 2018) is out now. Balthus once remarked the capacity of Italy to preserve something of primitive unity, of the freshness of its origins. This issue of Alla Carta is thus dedicated to the landscape: a grand tour that aims at rediscovering those elements through Italian people and places, as much as in Venice as NYC and as much in Sardinia as a prehistoric dinosaur park. It features a coffee with artist Nigel Peake and Benoit-Pierre Emery, creative director of Objets et La Table at Hermès, a dinner with Cecilia Federico and Rosita Giammarino, designers and founders of Archivio, plus a Skype call with artists collective Alterazioni Video – along with FW18 collections and much more.
