  • The Rake Magazine – Issue 93

The Rake Magazine Issue 93 is not so much a renewal of vows as a reaffirmation of our mission. The actor on our cover is Bill Nighy, a student of the stage and now very much a star of the screen. Nighy is beloved for the remorseless empathy in his performances, and while his fame is rooted in his acting work, the menswear industry also admires him for his support of British bespoke tailoring and his standards of dress, which are eschewed by others in his profession.

Boneshaker Magazine is a publication from Bristol (UK) and a celebration of cycling and the people who do it. Full of articles, personal stories and anecdotes about people and projects doing great things with bicycles around the globe. It is our hope that the magazine will both inspire and entertain, raise awareness and bring a smile to your face. Appealing to both bike-heads and those who may not yet have experienced the true joy and freedom that can be found from our two-wheeled friends. Boneshaker Magazine is a sideways look at cycling for bicycle lovers of all stripes, full of the passion, poetry and politics of life on two wheels.

Content: Boneshaker Magazine – Issue 19

Inner demons are wrestled and exorcised as the pedals spin on. Our writers take on the Tour Divide, pitch primitive tents in Normandy, chase heroic racers through Sri Lanka’s shimmering heat. We celebrate the cargo bike, the muddy bike, the radiator bike – and the next generation of riders marking magic miles of their own.

Welcome to issue 19: another beautiful 100-pager, with gold foil-blocking illuminating the cover, which has been illustrated by Ellen Schofield.

As ever, this issue was carefully printed in Bristol with vegetable inks on thick, uncoated Challenger offset paper, perfect binding, and with a foil-blocked cover printing, this time in gloss gold. It even smells good.
