Dirty Furniture Issue 4/6 (Closet) is available now. In our fourth issue of Dirty Furniture, we clean up our closets, think about coming out and question the need for storage when goods are constantly in flow. Time capsules are dug up, portals entered, avatars dressed and we interview an archivist and a storage hunter.
Featuring
- Alice Twemlow on clutter
- Jeremy Atherton Lin on coming out
- Philippa Snow on fashion
- Rob Gallagher on avatars
- Brian Dillon on time capsules
- Clare Lyster on logistics
- plus moths, coat hangers and the orgasmatron
Dirty Furniture is a new independent design magazine that uncovers the relationship between people and the things they live with. Conceived as a finite printed series of six and showcasing design’s best writers and emerging talents, each issue takes a piece of furniture as its theme and uses it as a springboard to explore topics spanning politics, design, history, technology, psychology, manufacturing, art – and the plain weird.
