Four & Sons Magazine Issue 2 is available now on loremnotipsum.com. We visit creatives and their canine muses at work and play: designer Thakoon Panichgul on the eve of Fashion Week, artist Wes Lang in his paint-splattered studio, and indie darling Carrie Brownstein on Portlandia’s off season. We feature dark arts (Roger Ballen) and psychedelic illustrations (Matt Furie); pay homage to icons living (William Wegman) and legendary (Lucian Freud); and dig up the riotous history of the Hair of the Dog maxim while glimpsing into the fantastical, dog-fearing future in Cannes-award winner White God. Last but certainly not least, the inimitable Bruce Weber offers his dog-centric cultural tips.

Covering art, design, fashion, music and lifestyle, Four & Sons Magazine brings together an eclectic mix of inspiring ‘dog-centric’ content to dog-lovers passionate about culture and creativity. Like most, we love fresh new content yet, Four & Sons is committed to bring you the best insight into everything dog-related, and that sometimes means looking a bit further back. Curated with a strong editorial approach and written by people who find dogs a constant source of inspiration. Four & Sons Magazine was founded by Marta Roca. She is forever amazed by the strange and wonderful bond between dogs and humans. A designer by trade, she also fancies herself the editor of Four & Sons. Marta loves black and white and everything typographic. If she was a dog, she would definitely be a Dalmatian. And if someone had the courage to do a biopic about her, Woody Allen would probably take on the title role.

Featuring

Nacho Alegre, Pia Arrobio, Atelier Ace, Roger Ballen, Carrie Brownstein, John Darwell, Sam Edmonds, Lucian Freud, Matt Furie, Sophie Gamand, Amy Hempel, Daniel Johnston, Anna Kleberg, Thakoon Panichgul, Robin Schwartz, Romance Was Born, Ware of the Dog, Bruce Weber, William Wegman and Eric Yahnker.
