Hole and Corner Issue 2 is out now! Continuing in our quest to bring you stories of dedication, craft, beauty, passion and skill, issue 2 features those that have most inspired us over the past six months: the makers, the innovators, the collectors and the stargazers. Contributors include Richard Foster, Josh Olins, Philip Sinden, John Balsom, Rick Gekoski, Bill Amberg, Richard Benson, Jude Rogers and Nick Compton.

This issue, we unearth more treasures, from the Museum of British Folklore to bespoke surfboard and motorcycle makers. We also take some time to reminisce about family and the things that really matter. From gardening legend Penelope Hobhouse to the inspirational Pascale Mussard of Hermès, it’s about getting the balance right. We think it’s a little bit special.

Hole & Corner was launched in May 2013 as a lifestyle brand celebrating and promoting creativity, craftsmanship, heritage and authenticity through digital, print and events. The name is inspired by an old English phrase: ‘Hole-and-Corner: adj, a secret place or a life lived away from the mainstream’. It is about people who spend more time doing than talking, for whom content is more important than style; whose work is their life. It’s about telling stories of dedication. Hole & Corner magazine is published quarterly, dedicated to stories of craft, beauty, passion and skill.
