What if the Covid-19 pandemic was an opportunity? In Les Others Magazine Volume 12, we have thus made the choice of (re)construction. Following in the footsteps of the Whole Earth Catalog, we wanted to remain pragmatic in the means, convinced that the solution to the greatest challenges of our time lies in our hands, in the true sense of the term. Our ten fingers as a starting point, to innovate, tinker, repair, build… A volume that embraces the words of American artist Adam Savage: “Humans have two characteristics that differentiate them from other animals. They use tools and tell stories. And when they make something, they do both. “

It is a bilingual (french and english) and biannual publication from Paris (France) for outdoor lovers with inspiring stories told by passionate adventurers, including travel diaries, interviews and beautiful photography. Les Others Magazine is a travel notebook with photo series, essays, interviews and illustrated recipes. These inspiring stories take you every morning for a walk on the most beautiful glaciers in Nepal, a lovely hit-the-road in Scandinavia or a delicious gyosas preparation in a Japanese kitchen. And because, sometimes, turning off our computer and leafing through a beautiful book to start a new trip is all we need, we decided in 2015 to turn paper.
