FAIRE Magazine is a quarterly publication featuring lead stories about creatives from around the world and special interest stories in every issue exploring heritage craftsmanship, off the beaten track creative sources and inspirational new talent. Each issue will be filled with considered, intimate, meaningful stories that bring us inside artists homes and creative spaces. To share stories of slowing down, creating with intention, community and collaboration, examining the twists and turns of creative lives and how to finally find your voice. FAIRE is committed to building a creative community on and off its pages while opening up opportunities for collaboration and skill sharing.

FAIRE Magazine Issue 4 is celebrates a wonderful group of 21 creatives, artists, artisans and creatives from around the world. Issue 4 is featuring French creative duo Ad Libitum; Swedish Chef & Activist Sofia Bodovic Olsson; South African Botanical artist Shannon Clegg; Mallorcan design duo Con Alma Design; American impresario and author Rachel Dangermond; American makers Dreamers Supply Co; Australian Fermenting Expert Maestro Sharon Flynn; Gee’s Bend quilters; French illustrator Marin Montagut takes us inside famous French art store Sennilier; Irish heritage textile company Mourne Textiles; Australian botanical artist Aimee Pradel; writer Ruth Steadman and American design Dawn Sweitzer of Notre Monde.

Issue 4 explores the mediums of fibers (quilting and weaving); fine art (painting, illustration and sculpture); craft (jewellery-making, leatherwork, botanical-craft and wood-work), food (recipe development, food activism and the art of fermentation), creative entrepreneurship and heritage savoir-faire.

Our artists live and work in some of the most beautiful corners of the earth. We explore a heritage weaving atelier in the Mourne Mountains in Northern Ireland; an award-winning female chefs home tucked away in a Swedish forest. We go behind-the-scenes inside Sennelier, the celebrated Parisian art store; we meet the impresario of a historical Black dance hall in Mississippi and we step inside the Daylesford kitchen of Australia’s foremost expert on fermentation. We meet the artist who has transformed a vast early 20th-century mattress factory into a design studio in North Carolina; and a magical woodworkers workshop inside an 18th-century Mallorcan Finca; and we go to Boykin, Alabama to interview and meet five Gees Bend quilters and so much more.
