Rebel Roots Magazine is providing a fresh viewpoint on the world of plant-based foods. Not your typical food publication — nah, we’re spicing it up with a cheeky twist! Here’s the thing, we’ve been set up on blind dates with plant-based food since we’re able to chew. Sure, we all know fruits and veggies. They tell us they’re good for us, that we should meet them five times a day. But when we’re young we don’t usually go for plain goody-two-shoes, we chase the rebels. That’s why we’re on a mission to uncover the hidden stories of plant-based food. They deserve to be heard, not just tossed in salads or roasted with a pinch of salt. Rebel Roots sprouted from a master’s project gone wild. We were given a challenge: Design a way to help people adopt more healthy and sustainable habits. Immediately we thought, how would we even attempt to promote healthy habits when sometimes the only salad we eat is squished between the shredded meat and yoghurt sauce from a late-night kebab? But we decided to approach it the only way we knew how — with a truckload of guts, a drizzle of creativity, a peck of pickled passion, and a dash of wit! We’re no experts on biology, history, agriculture or anything of the sort — just a crew of curious fools eager to explore this new world and rewrite the rules of plant-based goodness. And if we can inspire you to make healthier and more sustainable choices along the way, all the better!

Nighy is beloved for the remorseless empathy in his performances, and while his fame is rooted in his acting work, the menswear industry also admires him for his support of British bespoke tailoring and his standards of dress, which are eschewed by others in his profession.
