TAUKO Magazine Issue 1 is available now on loremnotipsum.com and explores the theme “The Age of the Makers” in articles, essays, columns, recommendations and interviews which highlight makers as artists, revolutionaries and designers.
In the launching issue of the TAUKO magazine, you will find 12 designs by international designers with step by step sewing guidelines and actual size paper patterns. The detailed guidelines inspire makers of all levels to start their new sewing project. All patterns come in 9 sizes from bust width 31” / 78cm to 57.5” / 146cm.
TAUKO Magazine is a 128-page collectable. There are four folded paper pattern sheets included with the magazine. It is printed in Estonia with a glue and stitch binding to secure durability and easy reading.

Our background is in running an awarded sustainable fashion brand, and we’ve become very familiar with design, pattern making, collection presentation, international fashion weeks – learning how clothing matter only when there is a personal connection to it. TAUKO stands for a break or a pause in Finnish. It describes a strong, silent, and still movement that is almost impossible to notice.
