We decamped to the beautifully restored Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester for a shoot of of-the-moment design pieces for autumn. The Grade-II listed building, former home of The Refuge Assurance Company, tells the story of a prospering city at the tail end of the 19th century, when construction began in 1891.
