Above Sea Level Magazine Issue 1 is available now on loremnotipsum.com. Above Sea Level Magazine Issue 1 contains a photo essay exploring the vessels used to store wines and the effect different materials have on the character of a wine. The first issue also features a visual response to some of the more ridiculous wine terminology from This is Mold’s LinYee Yuan and Lazy Mom.
You’ll also find a study on ‘The Nature of Fog’ with photographer Dan Tom and writer Elizabeth Schwyzer and an exploration of the connection between architecture, people and place, shown through a photo series of wineries, Scribe and Corison, taken by Luke Abiol and written by David Michon.
Above Sea Level magazine is a publication from the UK and events platform designed to start a different type of conversation around wine. By looking at wine in the context of food, design, people and places our hope is that it becomes an easier, more natural part of our conversation. This is something we explore through our magazine, events and project collaborations with other like minded people, brands and initiatives. Our aim is to connect people with wine in an authentic, memorable way. We work with wine, food and lifestyle brands and publishers on a project-by-project basis and specialise in content creation, project development and event strategy.
