Die neue Ausgabe von Quottom Magazin #4 ist erhältlich auf loremnotipsum.com. Was ist Heimat? Ein Gefühl, ein Landstrich? Oder doch nur der Eindruck der Sicherheit und Zugehörigkeit, die wir empfinden, wenn wir uns in den erschlossenen «heimischen Gefilden» bewegen. Ob Volkszugehörigkeit, Religion oder Staatsbürgerschaft—Heimat kann nur in ihren Widersprüchen und in ihrer Abstraktion wahrgenommen werden. Ähnlich verhält es sich mit dem Wahnsinn, der erst in seiner historischen Genese zu dem gemacht wurde, was er heute ist—nämlich eine diagnostizierbare, gesellschaftlich geächtete und zu behandelnde Anomalie. Doch Moment? Ist er nicht mitten unter uns? Depressionen, ADHS, Burnout sind doch die Schlagworte der heutigen Wohlstandsgesellschaft. Ist es nicht eher so, dass wir gegen den Wahnsinn ankämpfen, er aber tief in uns und dem menschlichen Alltag verankert ist?

Quottom Magazin ist ein Kulturmagazin mit dem Fokus auf gesellschaftlichen Themen und Kunst. Es bietet inhaltlich Platz für lange Geschichten, aufregende Reportagen, aussergewöhnliche Portraits, gewitzte Kolumnen und Essays sowie ausdrucksstarke Fotostrecken und künstlerische Arbeiten. Quottom Magazin besticht mit seiner einzigartig zeitlosen Kombination von Kunst und Lebensthemen. Denn jede Ausgabe steht im Zeichen zweier vordergründig gegensätzlicher Begriffe, die als Dachthemen den redaktionellen Teil bestimmen und über Portraits und Fotostrecken schweben. Die beiden Begriffe werden separat redaktionell, wie auch gestalterisch aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln beleuchtet, um dann aufeinanderzutreffen und ihr Wechselspiel zu entdecken. Quottom sucht nach dem Unbekannten, Neuen sowie dem Profanen. Und zeigt dabei eine frische und intelligente Perspektive der jungen Kultur und der Themen, die uns alle beschäftigen.
